Project Manager – Commercial Roofing & Waterproofing

Salary: $120,000–$140,000/year

Job Summary

Gordon Contractors is seeking a Project Manager to oversee commercial roofing and waterproofing projects from start to finish. The role manages budgets, schedules, materials, documentation, clients, and field teams to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage projects from contract award through closeout.
• Prepare submittals, shop drawings, reports, billings, and project documentation.
• Manage budgets, costs, materials, invoices, and change orders.
• Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, superintendents, and field crews.
• Conduct weekly site visits to monitor progress, quality, and safety.
• Resolve project issues such as weather delays, crew coordination, and material shortages.
• Track labor, equipment, project changes, and schedules.
• Prepare punch lists, warranties, and project closeout packages.
• Attend pre-construction and post-construction meetings.
• Maintain positive relationships with clients and project teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or related field preferred.
• 3–6 years of construction or roofing experience preferred.
• Knowledge of roofing systems, materials, and installation practices.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management software.
