Residential Construction Superintendent - Parrish, FL

We are seeking an experienced Residential Construction Superintendent to oversee the day-to-day construction activities for residential developments in Parrish, Florida. This role is responsible for coordinating subcontractors, vendors, inspectors, and field personnel while ensuring homes are built safely, efficiently, and to established quality standards. The successful candidate will be organised, proactive, and confident managing multiple construction phases from site preparation through final completion.


Key responsibilities include reviewing plans, specifications, schedules, and scopes of work; coordinating subcontractor activities; maintaining accurate construction schedules; and conducting regular inspections to verify workmanship and compliance with approved plans, building codes, and safety requirements. You will identify potential delays or quality concerns, communicate solutions promptly, and maintain productive relationships with homeowners, trade partners, municipal inspectors, and internal project teams. Additional duties include managing job-site cleanliness and security, documenting progress, tracking materials and deliveries, preparing punch lists, and ensuring timely completion of corrective work.


Candidates should have several years of experience supervising residential construction projects, with a strong understanding of the complete homebuilding process and local permitting requirements. Knowledge of construction scheduling software, Microsoft Office, plan reading, and quality-control procedures is preferred. Strong communication, leadership, problem-solving, and time-management skills are essential, as is the ability to work independently in a fast-paced field environment. A valid driver's licence, reliable transportation, and the ability to travel between active job sites are required. This position may involve frequent walking, standing, climbing stairs or ladders, and working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
