Overview Join a fast-paced Medical-Surgical team in a versatile 18-bed unit. Care for adult patients with diverse needs, including orthopedic, surgical, cardiac, and complex medical conditions. RN-to-patient ratios typically range from 1:5-6, with PCTs from 1:6-9, fostering team-based patient care. Gain clinical experience performing IV starts, bedside procedures, wound care, managing NGTs and chest tubes, administering blood transfusions, and caring for post‑op, central line, and colostomy patients. Flexibility to float across hospital units encourages clinical growth and collaboration. Responsibilities The staff nurse provides comprehensive nursing care, utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient needs. Ensures adherence to organizational policies, maintains professional standards, and coordinates care activities of assigned staff to deliver quality nursing care. Qualifications Education: Graduate of a nursing program Experience: New graduates eligible; hospital experience preferred Licensure: Current Georgia RN license or NLC/eNLC multistate license; BLS certification required Additional: Specialty certifications and a bachelor's degree are preferred #J-18808-Ljbffr
