Research Project Coordinator

The Research Project Coordinator administrativelycoordinates research protocol implementation, typically for asingle study. Will ensure efficient logistical implementation ofthe study activities and provide administrative support for allrelated issues. The Research Project Coordinator will help to coordination of alarge epidemiologic cohort study. Primary duties include tracking,scheduling, and coordination related to scientific review ofproposals and working groups. They will also assist with studycommunication, answering emails, quality assurance reviews,scheduling meetings, taking meeting notes, tracking documentation,and other study administrative tasks. Specific Duties & Responsibilities Coordinate all activities of a research study to ensurevalidity of findings. Work with the Principal Investigator or senior research staffto develop operational plans to meet research goals. Develop tools and procedures for data collection and studyprocesses. Collect and organize data per study requirements, e.g.participant interviews, administer questionnaires; conductbackground research, laboratory processing, etc. Ensure adherence to protocols and procedures. Assist with setup of data collection system and enter andorganize data. Oversee record management for research study. Oversee budget expenditures for study operations. Assist in coordinating study meetings. Participate in study meetings and provide updates on protocolimplementation status and make recommendations on operationalissues. Conduct literature searches to provide backgroundinformation. Other duties as assigned. In addition to the duties described above Coordination of scientific proposal review. Reviewing and tracking study documents, emailingreminders. Administrative support for meetings with scheduling, notes, andassembling agendas. Answering central inbox questions and requests. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in a related field. Additional education may substitute for required experience andadditional related experience may substitute for required educationbeyond a high school diploma/graduation equivalent, to the extentpermitted by the JHU equivalency formula.
