OB/GYN Physician – Fertility Medicine San Diego, CA | Full-Time We are partnering with a growing, physician-led fertility practice in San Diego seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible OB/GYN interested in expanding their career into reproductive medicine and IVF. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced OB/GYN to transition into fertility medicine without completing an REI fellowship. Prior fertility experience is welcomed but not required. The practice will provide structured, hands-on training alongside experienced fertility physicians and a multidisciplinary IVF team. The Opportunity The physician will initially focus on gynecologic care, fertility evaluations, diagnostic procedures, and straightforward fertility treatment. Responsibilities will progressively expand as competency is developed. Training and responsibilities may include: Fertility evaluations and treatment planning Transvaginal ultrasound and follicular monitoring IUI and ovulation-induction cycles Saline sonography and endometrial biopsy Office and operative hysteroscopy Ovarian stimulation protocols IVF cycle monitoring and management Egg retrievals Embryo transfers Frozen embryo transfer cycles Donor egg and gestational carrier cases Third-party reproduction Collaboration with embryology and andrology teams The goal is to develop the physician toward progressively greater independence in fertility and IVF patient management. Qualifications MD or DO Completion of an accredited OB/GYN residency Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology Active or eligible for an unrestricted California medical license Strong gynecologic clinical and procedural skills Experience with hysteroscopy and common office-based procedures Excellent communication and patient-care skills Genuine interest in fertility, reproductive medicine and IVF Willingness to participate in structured fertility/ART training Why Consider This Opportunity?
