These relationships are what allow us—together—to deliver customized compound solutions and help our customer's create better products."Manufacturing is a team sport and we work together to achieve our goals." ~Jon FainJoin the team behind our custom compounds.Responsibilities: This position is responsible for effectively maintaining production and facilities equipment throughout the Plant while ensuring that equipment operates at design efficiency and throughput.Experience in hands on mechanical work.Machining experience using vertical mills, lathes, and surface grinders.Basic understanding of systems, print reading, layout, bearing failure and mechanical drives.Ensures shop, equipment and tools are safe to use.Ensures tools and equipment are maintained, in good working order and secured.Must be able to be on-call and work overtime as needed.Requirements:Knowledge of mechanical systems.3 – 5 years practical experience in a related field.Computer skills required.High school diploma or GEDTeknor Apex is an Equal Opportunity Employer and does not discriminate against any protected status under state or federal laws.
