Forklift Operator - 2nd Shift
Pay: $17.00/hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 3:30 PM-12:00 AM
Position Type: Full-Time
Position Summary
We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused Forklift Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have forklift and warehouse experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment.
• Load and unload materials from trailers and designated storage areas.
• Pick, pack, check, and move products throughout the facility.
• Transport palletized and crated materials to designated locations.
• Properly stack and store materials while following inventory-control procedures.
• Use RF scanners to accurately track and move inventory.
• Complete required paperwork, forms, and production records.
• Inspect equipment and report maintenance or safety concerns immediately.
• Follow all safety policies, procedures, and work instructions.
• Meet established quality and productivity standards.
• Report safety, quality, and production issues to management.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Cross-train on other warehouse duties and equipment as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of related warehouse, manufacturing, or material-handling experience.
• Previous forklift operating experience preferred.
• OSHA forklift certification preferred.
• RF scanner experience preferred.
• Basic computer and math skills.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to follow directions from multiple supervisors.
• Ability to work at a fast pace and meet deadlines.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks while maintaining accuracy.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds with or without reasonable assistance.
• Ability to work overtime when needed.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English proficiently.
• Spanish-speaking skills preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to lift, move, reach, bend, stoop, kneel, and crouch as needed.
• Ability to safely operate forklifts and material-handling equipment.
• Ability to perform work requiring close-range, distance, peripheral, and depth perception.
