Collector – Senior Specialist II Reports to: Collections Manager. FLSA Status: Non-Exempt. Supervisory Role: No. About the Role We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Collector – Senior Specialist II to manage delinquent accounts with professionalism, empathy, and strict adherence to regulatory compliance. This vital, non-exempt role is perfect for a seasoned professional ready to handle advanced collections tasks and contribute significantly to our portfolio health. Key Responsibilities Coordinate daily collection calls and correspondence (telephone and mail) to notify customers of delinquent accounts, collecting deposits, payments, or fees. Ensure every interaction and process step complies with all debt collection laws and regulations. Prepare comprehensive bankruptcy packets in strict compliance with bankruptcy laws. Prepare delinquency letters in compliance with timing requirements; prepare detailed foreclosure and judgment files for management review. Maintain meticulous and up-to-date collection records and documentation. Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent education/experience is required. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Well organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and work to time-sensitive deadlines. Ability to work well independently and in groups. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs; Excel and Word. Fluent in English; bilingual a plus. Access to reliable transportation. Preferred None. Schedule Full-time position; Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM. Physical Demands Primarily sedentary role involving standard office activities such as computer work, phone communication, and document handling.
