Leads multifunctional subcontract management teams. Holds procurement delegation and signs supplier agreements and purchase orders within established authority.Leads the development of subcontract specifications, work statements, and terms and conditions for the procurement of specialized materials, equipment, and services for subcontract systems in support of development, production and global sustainment primes with multiple contract types.Prepares bid packages, conducts bidders' conferences, develops evaluation criteria, analyzes and evaluates proposals, negotiates subcontract provisions including price, selects or recommends subcontractors, writes subcontract packages, prepares awards and administers resulting subcontracts and required change activity. Basic QualificationsExperience as a Buyer within Aerospace OR / AND Defense Industry Experience with managing suppliers, including management of Cost, Technical, Schedule, Risk and Opportunities.Previous experience with procurement processes and regulations under DoD (FAR, DFAR, TINA, and or ITAR).Demonstrated communication skills (verbal, written, and presentation)Desired SkillsSubcontract experience to include development of RFP's, complex statements of Work, proposal evaluation criteria, and source selection criteriaBackground with and understanding of Lockheed Martin Acquisition Procedures (LMAP) for all subcontract types, special focus on Time and Material and Firm Fixed contracts.Experience managing special payments (Performance Based Payments and Progress Payments)Experience Interacting with senior management, suppliers and external personnel on significant matters, often requiring coordination between functional organizationsExperience achieving delivery within tight schedule timelines, while navigating in a dynamic work environmentExperience communicating with all levels of staff and leadershipCapable of identifying and mitigating risks and implementing effective mitigation strategiesSuccess working in multi-functional organizationsDemonstrated knowledge of Systems, Applications and Processes (SAP)Demonstrated problem solving skills, business acumen and the ability to make business based decisions and recommend solutionsPay InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $89100.00 - $165500.00At Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people.
