Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Forklift Operator to join our team in Beaufort, NC, 28516. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the smooth operation of our facility by efficiently handling materials and maintaining a safe work environment. Responsibilities- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and containers.
- Transport materials to designated areas within the facility.
- Conduct regular inspections of forklifts and report any maintenance needs.
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory and material movements.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and productivity.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid forklift operator certification preferred.
- Previous experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or industrial setting.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required.
- Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
- Basic computer skills for inventory management.
