Travel Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Full-Time | Days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a high-risk Level 3 maternal unit averaging approximately 240 deliveries per month
• Assist with and support vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, cerclages, and bilateral salpingectomies
• Perform intermediate fetal monitoring using GE monitoring equipment
• Document patient care accurately using Meditech and CPN electronic medical record systems
• Adhere to AWHONN staffing standards and maintain standard patient ratios (2:1 for L&D; 4:1 for low-risk antepartum)
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including charge nurses, surgical technologists, and unit secretaries

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 1 year of Labor & Delivery experience
• Proficiency with intermediate fetal monitoring
• Experience with Meditech and CPN electronic medical record systems

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Scrub experience in the OR setting
• C-EFM (Certified Electronic Fetal Monitoring) or RNC-OB certification
