About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Operations to provide strategic leadership and management for its manufacturing facilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing plant operations, continuous improvement activities, and ensuring the overall efficiency and effectiveness of production, maintenance, quality, and distribution. This role requires a minimum of 10 years of experience in progressive leadership within manufacturing and plant operations, with a specialization in sous-vide, and a strong background in production management. The VP of Operations will be instrumental in driving production, maintaining high standards of safety and quality, and fostering a culture of teamwork and common goals. Candidates for the VP of Operations position at the company should have a proven track record of high-performing plant leadership, with the ability to mentor and develop manufacturing staff. The role demands a leader with a strong set of values, including honesty, integrity, and a commitment to collaboration and accountability. Essential skills include organizational, technical, quality, safety, and environmental proficiency, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment. A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required, with a Master's degree preferred. The VP of Operations will also be responsible for implementing and enforcing operational policies and procedures, driving operational excellence, and ensuring the company's manufacturing processes align with financial requirements.
