RN - Employee Health Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Occupational Health Duration: 16 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 Hours (07:30 - 16:00) Experience: Minimum of 1 year required License: Valid State License (Compact license must be in hand at submission) Certifications: Valid certifications as required for the role Must-Have: Previous charge experience preferred Description:Open to locals and travelers.The Occupational Health Registered Nurse role involves conducting health screens on new hires.The position includes the provision of necessary vaccines to protect caregivers.Responsibilities also encompass blood and body fluid exposure management.The nurse will conduct respiratory protection training and manage communicable diseases.This role does not provide direct patient care.An in-house electronic health records system will need to be learned.Experience with the previous EHR system is not applicable.Travelers may be expected to float between nearby facilities.Refusal to float may result in termination of assignment.Communication devices, if needed for the assignment, will be supplied by the client.No direct outreach to facility contacts is permitted unless for an agreed-upon interview.Modules are non-billable, and all time spent on them is factored into non-billable hours.Modules must be completed prior to the start and during orientation, with time varying by specialty. #J-18808-Ljbffr
