We're looking for an experienced Lead Estimator to join our growing team in Bridgeport, CT. This is a high-impact leadership role reporting directly to the Vice President of Operations, where you'll shape project strategy, mentor talent, and play a key role in delivering successful projects across New England and beyond.

What You'll Do

• Lead the Estimating Function: Oversee the full estimating process, ensuring accurate, competitive, and strategic bids aligned with project goals.
• Drive Project Strategy: Partner with executives and project teams to define bid approaches, pricing strategies, and value engineering opportunities.
• Analyze & Optimize: Leverage historical data, market trends, and vendor/subcontractor insights to develop data-driven estimates.
• Manage Risk: Identify cost risks and opportunities early, recommending mitigation strategies to improve project outcomes.
• Team Leadership: Mentor and develop junior estimators while maintaining high standards of accuracy and performance.
• Oversee Bid Execution: Ensure timely, compliant, and complete bid submissions.

What You Bring

• 15+ years of experience in construction estimating
• Proven experience leading or supervising estimating teams
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, costs, and project delivery
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
• Strong communication and leadership abilities
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related field (preferred)

Work Environment

This is a full-time, on-site position in our Bridgeport office (Monday–Friday, 40 hours/week, with overtime opportunities). Our workplace fosters open communication, inclusivity, and collaboration—where every team member's contribution is visible and valued.

Job Type & Location: This is a Permanent position based out of Bridgeport, CT.

Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $120000.00 - $170000.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
