Here are the details:Title: Application EngineerLocation: Houston, TX/San Ramon, CADuration: 12+ month contractJob Details:Candidate will be responsible in the design, development, integration, implementation, and technical support for the Real-Time Automated Control System (RACS) at client’s network of 40+ proprietary Light Products Terminals across the globe.The system manages all data acquisition and control; alarm and data processing; display; historical archiving and reporting.Candidate will be responsible for developing and understanding Emerson/GE PAC series PLC architecture and control logic design, as well as to integrate and supporting the FuelFacs-UCOS supervisory control system and FuelFacs Terminal Management System (TMS), including 24-hour call assistance, and on-site support and troubleshooting for system commissioning and cutovers.Candidate’s responsibilities also include providing server, instrumentation, distributed I/O equipment, and sub-system integration design and support to operations and engineering personnel.It will be expected that the candidate can prepare detailed design specifications, create, and conduct comprehensive testing and commissioning procedures and manage development expectations, deadlines, and project milestones.High Priority Technical Skills:SME in controls automation and PCN networking (SME in PLC Controls and Ladder logic programming)SCADA (Supervisory Controls and Data Acquisition) control and processCommunication protocols and automation integrationField Control InstrumentationMicrosoft Office, Visio, Azure Dev Ops, TEAMS, WebEx, AGILESoft Skills:Project Management: Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously with time and budget constraints while ensuring they’re completed with zero incidents.Organization: Ability to prioritize and manage time well.
