Under general supervision, the Employee Relations Generalist provides support to the Employee Relations team through the administration of background checks, Gamer Fund programs, employee relations investigations, compliance research, reporting, and other Human Resources initiatives. This role serves as a key resource in fostering a positive employee experience, ensuring compliance with company policies and employment laws, and supporting HR operations across the organization.

This position sits onsite 5 days a week in Grapevine, TX.

Responsibilities

• Conduct background check reviews and communications with field associates as assigned.
• Conduct and/or coordinate timely, thorough, and effective employee relations investigations, ensuring appropriate documentation and resolution.
• Perform monthly reviews and analysis of employee relations investigations reporting.
• Foster relationships and partner with other HR teams as needed to support employee relations investigations.
• Be aware of federal, state, and local employment laws to support the employee relations investigations process.
• Support Human Resources projects and initiatives as assigned.
• Maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment when handling sensitive employee and company information.
• Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned to support departmental and organizational objectives.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum of two (2) years of Human Resources experience or related experience in an administrative, coordinator, or support capacity.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
• Experience supporting employee relations, investigations, compliance, or HR operations.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Access.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills with the ability to build positive relationships at all levels of the organization.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, adapt to changing business needs, and meet established deadlines.
• Demonstrated attention to detail with the ability to identify discrepancies, investigate issues, and ensure data accuracy.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to effectively present information to diverse audiences.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism and discretion.
• Effective project management, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to gather, interpret, and evaluate data to identify trends, opportunities, and solutions.
• Ability and willingness to learn new systems, processes, and cross-functional responsibilities.
• Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Working knowledge of employment laws, HR practices, and employee relations principles is preferred.
• Experience using HRIS, Kronos, or other workforce management systems is preferred.

Physical and Work Requirements

• Regular use of a computer and standard office equipment.
• Ability to remain seated for extended periods and perform repetitive hand and wrist movements associated with computer use.
• Occasional travel or attendance at meetings may be required.
