TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Labor/Delivery RN in Ottumwa, Iowa, 52501!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Labor & Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience preferred; 1 year with travel experience will be considered. License: Valid RN license required. Certifications: Required certifications include BLS, ACLS, NRP, and STABLE. Must-Have: Must have Iowa background check cleared before starting, including criminal and child abuse checks. Description: 36 or 48 guaranteed hours available. Mandatory reporter certification for both child and adult is required. A 10-panel drug test, including opiates, is mandatory. Titers for MMR, Hep B, Varicella, and TB must be within the last 12 months. Monday or Tuesday start dates are allowable. Patients in active labor will have a 1:1 nurse-to-patient ratio, with couplet care at 3:1. Equipment includes intermediate fetal monitoring, and the EHR system in use is Meditech. The nursing staff will float within the hospital to other units as needed. Ideal candidates should demonstrate a strong ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
