Maintenance Technician

Nesco Resource is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join a growing manufacturing team. This position is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing production equipment to ensure safe and efficient operations. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical and electrical maintenance experience, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to workplace safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on production equipment, including fluid changes, filter replacements, inspections, and troubleshooting.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment issues.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns and restore machinery to operational condition.
• Conduct equipment testing and verify proper functionality after repairs.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation of repairs and services performed.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and hazardous material handling procedures.
• Maintain shop tools, equipment, and parts inventory.
• Assist with equipment cleaning, painting, and general upkeep.
• Recommend cost-effective repair and replacement solutions.
• Perform additional maintenance duties as assigned.

Required

• 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair manufacturing equipment.
• Knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems
• Experience in plastics or extrusion manufacturing environments.
• Associate degree in a technical field.
• Mechanical, Electrical, and/or PLC certifications.
• Experience with preventive maintenance programs and industrial controls.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to pass a preemployment screening

Shift 2nd (230 pm to 1030 pm) Salary $28-38 an hour based on experience Benefits once hired into the company
