FISH CHEEKS looking for experienced SOUS CHEF.
Fish Cheeks is an upscale seafood-focused Thai restaurant on Bond street in Manhattan's Noho neighborhood offering authentic Thai cuisine inspired by the flavorful, approachable food our chefs grew up eating.
The Sous Chef is responsible for helping to prepare and design all food menus, producing high quality plates in both design and taste, and ensuring the kitchen operates in a timely way that meets Company standards.
The Sous Chef will be responsible for:
- The day-to-day management of BOH operations.
- Implementing and maintaining the vision of the organization alongside company ownership.
- The directing and supervising of the culinary team.
- Overseeing the day-to-day finances of the kitchen, including sourcing ingredients and interacting with vendors.
- Ensuring the professional execution of all aspects of the business and setting the highest possible standards for the business.
- Assuming an active role in recipe and menu creation and is responsible for working with the executive chef towards their implementation.
- Scheduling of assigned departments
