Due to growth in our production machining, Psoup is looking for a manufacturing engineer to join the team. The candidate will be primarily responsible for managing production jobs, which includes reviewing the client's PO for accuracy and changes, producing the routers, purchasing the raw materials and tooling, coordinating and writing the PO's for outside services, initiating and managing the production and inspection of the components and assemblies, ensuring that the proper documentation has been produced, and putting the job away in preparation for future production.

Responsibilities

• Participate in process development.
• Manage production jobs.
• Produce production routers.
• Purchase raw materials and tooling.
• Coordinate outside services.
• Produce batch records, demonstrating the devices meet quality requirements.
• Store the completed job in a complete and organized manner.

Qualifications

• Trade school certification for machining or associate's degree in engineering
• A minimum of 5 years' experience managing machine shop jobs
• Ability to interpret complex drawings, geometric dimensioning and tolerancing
• Experience operating under a quality system
• Experience with SolidWorks
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Computer literacy
