Join us and help shape the future of aerospace and defense.The Missile Defense Sensors (MDS) software department within Raytheon is looking for a skilled and motivated Software Sub-CPT Lead to oversee the development and maintenance of software for the NASAMS Eurobundle program, supporting high-impact deliverables for multiple international customers. The Software Lead will report to the NASAMS Cross Product Team Lead (CPTL) and will be responsible for ensuring the successful execution of software deliverables through effective leadership and collaboration with cross-functional teams.This position is onsite in Tewksbury, MA.What You Will DoManage scope, schedule, budget, risks and opportunities (R&O), and estimate at completion (EAC) in collaboration with CAM and CPTL.Coordinate with NASAMS Software Product Owners to plan and execute scope using agile methodologies.Work closely with stakeholders, including the Chief Product Owner (CPO), Systems Engineering (SE), Systems Integration and Test (SI&T), and Life-Cycle Engineering (LCE), to align execution plans.Represent Software Engineering in key program meetings, such as Program Management Reviews (PMRs), Preliminary Design Reviews (PDRs), Critical Design Reviews (CDRs), and gate reviews.Provide ad-hoc support for program proposals and related documentation.Qualifications You Must HaveTypically requires a bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and 8 years or prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations.Experience with agile development frameworks such as Scrum and SAFe.Experience leading and mentoring agile software team(s).Ability to obtain U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required after start date. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
