This position is located in a specialized unit featuring:

15 Labor Delivery Recovery (LDR) rooms
3 Operating Rooms (ORs)
4 bay Post-Anesthesia Care Units (PACU)
4 antepartum rooms
Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)

Documentation and Scheduling

Documentation System: Meditech, CPNS

Scheduling Requirements: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Floating Policy

Floating may occur within the Women's and Children's service line.

Patient Experience Requirements

Candidate must have experience in:

Labor and delivery
Circulating during C-sections
Administering IV drips, including magnesium, for high acuity patients

Certifications Required

Applicants must possess the following certifications:

BLS
ACLS
NRP
AWOHNN Fetal Heart Rate Intermediate

Qualifications

Advanced skills and experience required:

Experience in a fast-paced labor and delivery unit
Ability to perform scrub and circulating roles in the operating room is advantageous

Procedures Performed

This unit performs a variety of procedures, including:

C-sections
Epidurals
Spinals
Cerclage procedures
Version procedures

Dress Code

Scrubs will be provided by the hospital.
