Job Description

General Summary:

The Behavioral Services Psychotherapist provides evidence-based care in the diagnosis and treatment of mental illness and substance use disorders within an interdisciplinary team. This position requires delivering individual, conjoint, group, and family psychotherapy services while providing crisis intervention support as needed. The psychotherapist is responsible for ensuring that all care delivered is safe, effective, patient-centered, timely, efficient, and equitable.

Qualifications

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

 

• Master's (or Doctoral) degree in clinical or counseling psychology with one year supervised post-master's experience; OR
• Master's degree in Social Work with two years post-master's experience in mental health/chemical dependency setting

 

CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURES REQUIRED:

 

• Licensed Psychologist; OR
• Limited Licensed Psychologist; OR
• Licensed Master's in Social Work
