Business Development Account Manager - META - Fremont

Key Responsibilities The Business Development Manager - META is responsible for driving strategic growth and developing new business opportunities within the hyperscale and large-scale data center market. This role focuses on expanding Delta’s presence across white space, gray space, and black space infrastructure solutions, including modular and containerized data centers, power distribution architecture, energy infrastructure, and grid resiliency solutions. The Business Development Manager will build and manage relationships with hyperscale operators, colocation providers, EPC firms, consultants, and strategic partners while aligning Delta’s portfolio with evolving customer requirements in power, sustainability, and next‐generation digital infrastructure. This position requires a strong understanding of data center infrastructure ecosystems, electrical distribution systems, renewable integration, and emerging energy technologies supporting AI, cloud, and high-density compute environments. Develop and execute strategic business development plans focused on hyperscale, colocation, and enterprise data center customers Identify and drive new opportunities related to: Solid‐State Transformers (SST) Containerized Data Centers Modular Data Center Solutions Microgrid Infrastructure Renewable Energy Integration Backup Power Systems Medium‐and Low‐Voltage Electrical Distribution Architectures AI and High‐Density Power Infrastructure Build strong executive‐level relationships with hyperscalers, data center developers, EPC firms, consultants, utilities, and channel partners Position Delta as a strategic infrastructure partner across critical power, energy management, and digital infrastructure initiatives Collaborate with internal business units, engineering teams, product management, and regional sales organizations to align customer requirements with solution offerings Support early‐stage opportunity development including market analysis, account mapping, customer engagement, and solution positioning Drive customer engagement activities including technical workshops, executive presentations, site visits, and industry events Monitor market trends, competitive landscape, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies impacting data center infrastructure and energy systems Partner with internal teams to develop go‐to‐market strategies for new infrastructure and energy solutions Support commercial negotiations, strategic partnerships, and long‐term customer agreements Coordinate cross‐functional resources to ensure successful execution of strategic opportunities and customer initiatives Maintain accurate opportunity forecasting, pipeline development, and CRM reporting Job Objectives / KPIs Growth of hyperscale and strategic data center accounts Revenue and pipeline generation within targeted infrastructure segments Expansion of Delta’s presence in gray space and black space infrastructure opportunities Strategic partnership development and customer engagement Successful positioning of next‐generation power and infrastructure solutions Market penetration within modular, microgrid, and renewable‐integrated data center solutions Achievement of annual business development and strategic growth targets Key Competencies / Behaviors / Strengths Strong strategic business development and relationship management skills Deep understanding of hyperscale data center infrastructure ecosystems Ability to engage effectively with executive leadership, engineering teams, and infrastructure stakeholders Strong knowledge of critical power systems, electrical infrastructure, and energy technologies Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities Highly collaborative with the ability to work across global and cross‐functional teams Self‐driven, entrepreneurial mindset with strong problem‐solving skills Ability to navigate complex and evolving technical and commercial environments Strong market awareness of AI infrastructure, sustainability trends, and digital transformation initiatives Minimum Qualifications Experience & Qualifications 7+ years of experience in business development, strategic account management, or infrastructure sales within data center, energy, power systems, or critical infrastructure industries Experience working with hyperscale data center operators, colocation providers, utilities, EPC firms, or infrastructure developers Strong familiarity with: Data center power architecture Critical power systems Microgrids and renewable integration UPS and backup power technologies Medium- and low‐voltage electrical systems Modular and prefabricated infrastructure solutions Understanding of AI/HPC infrastructure requirements and high‐density power environments preferred Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business, or related field required; MBA or advanced technical degree preferred Strong presentation, strategic planning, and customer engagement skills Ability to travel as required to support customer and business development activities Pay Range USD $150,000.00 - USD $175,000.00 /Yr. Preferred Qualifications Existing relationships within Meta or similar hyperscalers. Benefits This position will include Bonus incentives.
