Pay Rate: $40.00 - $43.00 per Hour

Job Overview

We are seeking a Project Manager to support Corporate & Investment Banking (CIB) initiatives within the Structured Products organization. This role is ideal for an early-career banking professional with 2-5 years of experience in commercial banking, investment banking, commercial lending, structured products, or related financial services environments.

The selected candidate will partner closely with business stakeholders to drive strategic initiatives, support product expansion efforts, streamline operational workflows, and help build scalable infrastructure across commercial investment banking operations. The role requires strong project coordination skills, business acumen, and experience working within structured products, commercial loans, mortgage-backed securities, or asset-backed lending environments.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate project initiatives supporting Corporate & Investment Banking and Structured Products business objectives.
• Manage end-to-end project lifecycles including planning, execution, monitoring, risk management, and delivery.
• Partner with business stakeholders, product teams, operations groups, and technology teams to execute strategic initiatives.
• Support product expansion efforts and process optimization within commercial investment banking operations.
• Develop and maintain project plans, roadmaps, status reports, and key deliverables.
• Coordinate meetings, track action items, and ensure timely completion of project milestones.
• Analyze current workflows and recommend process improvements to increase efficiency and scalability.
• Assist in building and enhancing infrastructure supporting structured products and commercial lending activities.
• Work with teams supporting Commercial Mortgage-Backed Securities (CMBS), Asset-Backed Securities (ABS), receivables financing, mortgage origination, leasing portfolios, and related lending products.
• Support large-scale initiatives involving consumer and commercial loan acquisitions and portfolio management strategies.
• Leverage AI-powered productivity tools such as Microsoft Copilot, Rogo AI, or similar technologies to improve project execution and reporting.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Management, or a related field.
• 2-5 years of experience in project management, product management, business analysis, or banking operations.
• Experience within commercial banking, investment banking, structured products, capital markets, commercial lending, or mortgage-related environments.
• Understanding of Commercial Mortgage-Backed Securities (CMBS), Asset-Backed Securities (ABS), commercial loans, mortgages, or receivables financing.
• Strong organizational and project coordination skills.
• Experience managing multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting structured products, securitization, or capital markets initiatives.
• Background in commercial mortgage lending, asset-based lending, receivables financing, or lease portfolios.
• Knowledge of project management methodologies including Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid frameworks.
• Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
• Experience utilizing AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot, Rogo AI, or similar platforms.
• PMP Certification is a plus.
