Material HandlerThe Material Handler will be responsible for operating within the shipping and material handling areas. The role involves working with large chemical drums, preparing pallets for shipment, and operating forklifts. This position requires flexibility as the individual may work in different areas and handle various tasks throughout the day.ResponsibilitiesPrint labels and prepare pallets for shipment in the shipping department.Handle large chemical drums and ensure they are ready for shipment.Work until the trailer is loaded at night, with some potential for overtime.Utilize computers to print labels and track shipment information.Operate sit down and stand up forklifts to pick materials and stage finished products.Essential Skills2 years of forklift experience in a production or warehouse setting.1 year of sit down forklift experience.Ability to lift up to 55 lbs.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Pleasant Prairie, WI.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
