Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough mental health diagnostic assessments and evaluations to identify client needs and develop effective treatment plans tailored to their specific cultural and emotional contexts. Create, implement, and maintain comprehensive treatment plans, documenting progress while revisiting treatment goals and adapting interventions based on client feedback and outcomes. Regularly assess the effectiveness of therapeutic interventions, using evidence-based methodologies to make necessary adjustments that enhance therapeutic outcomes. Provide empathetic support and guidance to clients dealing with various mental health issues, leveraging therapeutic techniques to empower them in overcoming personal challenges. Engage in collaborative discussions with a multidisciplinary team to identify community gaps in mental health services and strategize innovative solutions. Incorporate creativity into session planning and interventions, aiming to inspire clients to achieve and exceed their personal mental health goals. Participate actively in supervision and team meetings to enhance cultural competence and continue improving service delivery for diverse populations. Patient Population / Client Focus As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Align Rehabilitation & Wellness Center, you will work with a diverse clientele, including individuals, couples, and families experiencing a wide range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and identity-related concerns. Your role is crucial in fostering a supportive therapeutic environment where clients feel safe and empowered to share their experiences. Qualifications An earned Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field is required. A current license as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) or relevant equivalent is necessary to practice professionally. Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills are vital for effective interaction with clients and professionals alike. A strong capacity to demonstrate stable and appropriate boundaries while working with clients, ensuring a safe therapeutic environment. Capacity to adapt therapeutic practices to meet the needs of a diverse client population. Preferred Experience A minimum of three years of professional experience in counseling or therapeutic settings, providing direct services to clients. Experience working in outpatient settings and familiarity with various treatment modalities is preferred.
