Job Summary: Join a dedicated team focused on maintaining a clean, orderly, and safe environment within healthcare facilities across the Midwest region. This role supports patients, staff, visitors, and vendors by performing essential non-clinical tasks with professionalism and hospitality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Laundry and Pack Room Duties: Sort, dry, iron, fold, pack, store, and distribute clean linens following established policies and standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of linen areas, conduct inventories, and manage linen par levels. Fill linen orders for satellite locations and document usage through tracking systems.
• Inspect surgical linens for damage, mend or mark linens as needed, perform liquid barrier tests, and pack components according to case specifications. Maintain quality assurance tools and systems.
• Housekeeping and Equipment: Keep assigned equipment clean and report any needed repairs promptly. Use chemicals, supplies, and tools correctly and safely.
• Performance and Compliance: Meet departmental standards including attendance, training, and uniform policies. Demonstrate courtesy, compassion, and respect in all interactions. Uphold legal and regulatory compliance by reporting any concerns related to abuse, neglect, or harassment. Protect patient and staff privacy at all times.
• Teamwork and Communication: Collaborate effectively with team members, take initiative to complete tasks, assist peers, and contribute to improving service delivery. Communicate professionally and respectfully, keeping supervisors informed and fostering a positive work environment.
• Report maintenance needs, safety concerns, and incidents immediately. Follow all safety, infection control, emergency preparedness, and departmental policies and procedures.

Education and Experience:

• Minimum of eighth grade education required.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous related experience is a plus.
