Responsibilities Manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual close and deliver accurate financial statements on schedule Supervise, train, and develop the accounting team, including review of journal entries and reconciliations Own the general ledger, chart of accounts, and account reconciliation process Prepare and review financial statements with variance analysis and commentary for leadership Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll accounting functions Ensure compliance with GAAP and maintain documented internal controls and accounting policies Lead the annual audit, coordinating requests and serving as the primary contact for external auditors Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow reporting Improve close timelines, reporting quality, and system workflows through process and automation improvements Partner with operations and other departments on accounting questions and business decisions Qualifications Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience Supervisory experience leading and developing accounting staff Proven ownership of the full month-end close and financial statement preparation Strong technical knowledge of GAAP and internal controls Experience managing external audits Advanced Excel skills and ERP system experience Bachelor's degree in Accounting CPA preferred Jobot is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
