Senior Buyer

This is a hands-on Senior Buyer role for an experienced aerospace supply chain professional who thrives on ownership, problem-solving, and supplier management. You will play a critical role in securing high-risk and constrained materials while strengthening supplier performance in a highly regulated environment. The ideal candidate brings aerospace purchasing experience, strong strategic sourcing skills, and the confidence to operate independently. This role is designed for someone who wants to grow into a future supply chain leadership position.

This organization operates within the aerospace manufacturing and repair industry, supporting FAA-regulated programs that demand precision, compliance, and reliability. The team is known for its collaborative culture, operational rigor, and commitment to quality across engineering, operations, supply chain, and quality functions. Work is performed onsite at a manufacturing and repair facility in the Kent, Washington area, where cross-functional partnership and accountability are core to daily operations.

Full-Time, Direct Hire

Senior Buyer– Key Responsibilities

• Own and manage key supplier relationships, including performance, pricing, delivery, and continuity
• Lead strategic sourcing efforts for constrained and high-risk aerospace materials
• Identify, qualify, and onboard alternate suppliers to mitigate supply chain risk
• Independently manage procurement execution, including shortages, expedites, and inventory levels
• Partner with Operations, Production, and Quality to align material availability with production demand

Monday–Friday, First Shift Preferred start time before 8:00 AM Some flexibility available

$88,000+ annually, based on experience Eligible for a quarterly 6% bonus

Senior Buyer Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive purchasing or supply chain experience within aerospace or FAA-regulated environments
• Strong background in strategic sourcing, supplier management, and constrained material procurement
• Advanced Excel skills and comfort working within ERP systems
• Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and make sound decisions with minimal oversight
• Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent experience considered
