Duties and Responsibilities: Install preset jobs and perform setup of punch press or laser machines, including tooling, fixturing, and machinery. Coordinate with Engineering team as changes arise during setup or production. Verify settings by measuring positions, first-run parts, and sample workpieces, adhering to quality production standards and tight tolerance requirements. Perform physical functions of the job, including lifting up to 50 lbs., and maneuvering product as needed. Responsible for complex setups, including tooling selection, forming, and editing programs at the machine. Perform programming at the machine and assist with offline programming as needed. Maintain safe operations by adhering to safety procedures, process integrity, and regulations, including keeping work area and equipment clean and organized. Monitor calibration of measuring equipment and ensure machinery and tooling are operating safely and efficiently. Verify paperwork, print number, revision levels, operation sequence, materials, programs, and check sheets are correct and consistent. Run jobs in an efficient, organized, and safe manner while following work instructions, prints, and work order sequences.
