Quick Facts Location: Spokane, WA (5633 North Lidgerwood Street, Spokane, WA 99208) Start Date: 08/03/2026 End Date/Duration: Ongoing until a permanent provider is hired Shift: 8:00 am – 5:00 pm (Clinical hours) Hours/Week: 40+ hours, plus OT procedures if desired Employment Type: Locum Tenens (Potential to transition to Perm) License/Certs: Active or IMLC license, BC certification, GI Fellowship required, DEA required Experience: Prior GI Fellowship training required Pay & Benefits Hourly Rate: $1.00/hour (details to be confirmed upon application) Benefits: Competitive pay packages Weekly pay schedule via direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Robust referral bonus program Licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements when applicable Paid sick time in accordance with applicable laws 24/7 dedicated support team from VHS What You’ll Do Provide inpatient gastroenterology consultations and evaluations Perform outpatient procedures if applicable (if indicated in your application) Collaborate with hospital staff and coordinate patient care Support the hospitalist team and ensure quality patient outcomes Cover scheduled shifts and additional OT procedures as needed Maintain compliance with all licensure and certification requirements What You Need Active or IMLC license in good standing Board Certified in Gastroenterology GI Fellowship completion required DEA license Minimum of 2+ years’ experience in gastroenterology preferred Strong clinical skills and ability to work independently About the Assignment This locum position is for a trusted hospital in Spokane, WA. The provider will join the team in a hospitalist-type role, working between Sacred Heart and Holy Family hospitals. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, with no nights or weekends required. Candidates interested in outpatient procedures should indicate this in their application.
