Magna Energy Storage SystemsAs part of Magna International, Magna Energy Storage Systems Group develops and manufactures innovative fuel tank systems and components for heavy-duty trucks and passenger cars, specializing in plug-in hybrids. At Magna, you will be part of an international, dynamic team committed to delivering high-quality products and shaping the future of mobility.Job Responsibilities• Perform unloading of trucks/containers and loading of trucks, which requires driving a sit-down forklift and lifting of packages.• Receive incoming shipments and verify quantities against shipping documents, purchase orders, and packing slips.• Maintain FIFO inventory practices and ensure materials are stored in designated locations.• Prepare and load outgoing shipments. Inspect outgoing materials for damage, shortages, or discrepancies and report issues to the appropriate personnel.• Identify opportunities to improve warehouse efficiency, material flow, inventory accuracy, and shipping/receiving processes.• Assist with cycle counts, inventory audits, and other warehouse activities as required.• Requirements for Job Holders:• Previous shipping and receiving experience is preferred.• Proven good understanding of warehousing, inventory management, shipping and receiving procedures are preferred.• Must have strong computer skills in Microsoft package.• Must be Forklift-certified and able to undergo testing.• Must have demonstrated strong organizational skills.• Must be able to distinguish color.Ability to work on a fixed schedule from 8am to 5pm (Mo-Fr).Awareness, Unity, EmpowermentAt Magna, we believe that a diverse workforce is critical to our success.
