Maintain logs, records, and reports related to production, machine or equipment usage, maintenance activities, and product inconsistencies.
Inventory and monitor tools, parts, and supplies; coordinate with materials handlers when additional materials or hardware are required.
Periodically inspect products in accordance with company policies to ensure quality, uniform completion, and compliance with workmanship standards, resolving identified issues and notifying supervision as needed.
Make decisions regarding product acceptance based on product documentation, quality criteria, and workmanship standards.
Understand and interpret design data such as drawings and bills of material to ensure accurate assembly and configuration.
Communicate effectively in both small and large group settings to discuss issues, coordinate activities, and resolve problems.
Collaborate closely with shop floor supervision, engineering, quality, and other team members to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of assemblies.
Address conflict situations professionally and interact with individuals who may be frustrated or dissatisfied, maintaining a constructive approach.
Make frequent decisions that affect other people, financial resources, and the organization’s reputation, often without direct supervision.
Take responsibility for outcomes and results, including accepting and addressing the consequences of errors.
Determine tasks, priorities, and goals with minimal direction while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Meet strict deadlines by organizing work, shifting between multiple tasks, and managing changing priorities and time requirements.
Concentrate on tasks for extended periods without becoming distracted and resume work effectively after interruptions.
Generate ideas and contribute to creative solutions for assembly challenges, process improvements, or quality issues.
Work collaboratively with others in a group or team environment and interact with external customers or the public when required.
Use computers and relevant software to access documentation, record data, and support production and quality activities.
Perform other related duties as assigned to support production, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Essential Skills
