Learning and Development Manager - $100-150K base plus bonus

Role Overview We're seeking a Learning and Development Manager to lead the development and execution of training programs across the organization. This role will be responsible for onboarding and developing Financial Advisors, while also overseeing training initiatives for all employees to ensure consistency in knowledge, performance, and the overall Trajan client experience. This individual will manage the firm's training strategy, curriculum, and materials, partnering closely with leadership and key stakeholders to support both advisor success and firm‑wide development. This is a high‑impact position ideal for a professional with experience in financial services who is passionate about building scalable training programs, enhancing employee performance, and supporting a growing organization. This role would be fully onsite at our Scottsdale Corporate office. Duties and responsibilities Lead and facilitate new advisor onboarding and training programs, ensuring a strong foundation in Trajan Wealth's planning philosophy, systems, and client experience Design, develop, and continuously improve training curriculum, materials, and delivery methods in‑person, virtual, and self‑paced, building from the ground up where needed Leverage AI tools and emerging learning technologies to enhance curriculum development, personalize learning pathways, and improve training efficiency and scale Partner with leadership, compliance, and subject matter experts to ensure training content is accurate, relevant, and aligned with firm standards Identify skill gaps across advisor and employee teams and implement targeted training initiatives to address development needs Manage and maintain a centralized library of training resources, playbooks, and documentation Track and measure training effectiveness, using feedback and performance metrics to continuously refine programs Support ongoing professional development through workshops and continuing education initiatives Stay current on industry trends, regulatory updates, and best practices in advisor training, L&D technology, and AI‑assisted learning Qualifications Bachelor's degree (Instructional Design, Organizational Development, Human Resources, or related field preferred) 4‑7 years of experience in Learning & Development, corporate training, or instructional design, ideally within financial services or a regulated industry Demonstrated ability to build scalable training curriculum from scratch, including onboarding programs, facilitator guides, and self‑paced learning content Strong foundation in adult learning principles with a track record of designing and delivering effective, engaging training programs Tech‑savvy with hands‑on experience using AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Copilot, Claude or similar) to accelerate content development, automate workflows, and enhance the learner experience Experience with learning management systems (LMS) and modern training technologies to deliver and track programs Familiarity with financial planning concepts, retirement strategies, or the ability to rapidly learn industry‑specific material Excellent facilitation and presentation skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences across experience levels Highly self‑directed and autonomous, thrives in a fast‑growing environment, takes ownership, and drives initiatives forward without waiting to be told Hungry to build something meaningful; energized by the challenge of creating structure and scale where little existed before Strong organizational and project management skills; able to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders simultaneously Data‑driven mindset with experience measuring training effectiveness and applying insights to continuously improve outcomes Benefits Salary $100,000 - $150,000 plus quarterly bonus 401(k) with a matching contribution up to 13% United Healthcare HSA, PPO medical coverage for employees, paid by the company Delta Dental PPO, United Healthcare Vision, Short Term Disability, Long Term Disability, Life Insurance, and many more voluntary options Generous holidays and PTO Come and join a team that is making a difference in their clients and employee's lives! #J-18808-Ljbffr Trajan Wealth LLC
