Position Title HRIS Manager (Medical Records) Location Georgia Regional Hospital – Atlanta, Decatur, GA Salary & Grade Salary: $64,472.77 Job Grade: K Job Description The medical records manager oversees the medical record department by ensuring the security and accuracy of the electronic health records (EHRs) and paper files while maintaining compliance with healthcare laws; and leads a team of health information staff. Responsibilities Assure that the daily operations and management of the HRIS run efficiently and effectively. Ensure that all HRIS processes are correctly executed. Ensure the accuracy and time‑code assignments for billing and claims are submitted. Maintain security and confidentiality of all health information, records, and documents. Demonstrate strong attention to detail, organizational skills, problem‑solving, communication, and leadership. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in health care services or a related field from an accredited college or university and two (2) years of professional managerial or supervisory experience in health care services.
