Surgical Technologist II - Operating Room - LBJ - FT

The Surgical Technologist II (ST II) assists the surgical team in operative procedures utilizing proper aseptic technique. The ST II has current knowledge of equipment, suture, and procedures being performed, and demonstrates personal and professional effectiveness. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Graduation from an accredited educational program for surgical technologists. Certification as a Surgical Technologist through the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting or the National Center for Competency Testing. Current CPR certification. One (1) year related experience preferred. Special Requirements Communication skills: above average verbal (heavy public contact) and correspondence. Other Skills Medical terminology.
