Regional Sales Director, MCS

Abbott seeks a Regional Sales Director to lead the Medical Cardiac Surgery (MCS) division across a multi-state territory. The role involves managing clinical and market development teams, driving therapy adoption and revenue targets, and overseeing sales strategy execution in the heart failure treatment space.
Responsibilities
- Develop regional strategic plans to meet revenue, profitability, and market penetration goals
- Lead and coach clinical and market development teams through field visits and performance measurement
- Design and execute therapy adoption programs to increase eligible patient referrals to physicians
- Oversee regional training strategies and market development plans to equip sales teams
- Manage talent acquisition, development, and performance within the region
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required
- Minimum 5 years medical device industry experience
- 3–5 years sales leadership experience, preferably medical devices
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Demonstrated quota attainment and performance metrics management
- Strong verbal and written communication at multiple organizational levels
- Ability to manage P&L and operate in matrixed, geographically diverse environments
