Role Summary CIQTEK is seeking a proactive, results-driven Sales Representative to manage a defined territory, generate and qualify leads, and close new business for our scientific instruments. The ideal candidate has hands-on sales experience in scientific instrumentation—preferably electron microscope systems—strong follow-up discipline, and a track record of building long-term customer relationships. Key Responsibilities Prospect, develop, and qualify leads through outbound outreach, industry events, referrals, and partner channels. Conduct timely, persistent follow-up to move prospects through the sales pipeline and convert opportunities. Deliver technical sales presentations and demos (in-person and virtual) in collaboration with applications and engineering teams. Develop and execute territory sales plans, forecasts, and account strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets. Manage full sales cycle: discovery, proposal, negotiation, order processing, and handoff to service/installation teams. Maintain accurate records in CRM and use sales analytics to drive decision-making. Represent CIQTEK at conferences, trade shows, and customer sites; travel as required. Build and maintain strong, consultative relationships with research institutions, industrial labs, and key opinion leaders. Qualifications 3+ years B2B sales experience in scientific instrumentation or related technical equipment (electron microscope sales strongly preferred). Demonstrated ability to source leads, follow up consistently, and close complex technical sales. Strong technical aptitude with the ability to understand and present instrument capabilities to scientific audiences. Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and sales forecasting. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Physical Sciences, or related field; advanced degree a plus. Willingness to travel regularly; valid U.S. driver’s license required. Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently in an on-site role.
