The Foundry is seeking an experienced, hands-on Front of House Restaurant Manager to join our management team.

We are a busy, upscale-casual restaurant in Pompano Beach with a strong local following, high-volume Happy Hours, weekend brunch, dinner service, private events, and a full-service bar.

This is not an entry-level management position.

We are looking for a confident restaurant professional who knows how to take control of a floor, lead a team, maintain service standards, and create an exceptional guest experience.**

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

The ideal candidate has:

4+ years of restaurant/hospitality management experience
* Experience in a **high-volume, full-service restaurant**
* Strong FOH leadership and floor-management skills
* Experience managing servers, bartenders, hosts, bussers, and support staff
* Strong knowledge of restaurant service and bar operations
* Ability to coach, train, motivate, and hold employees accountable
* Experience with scheduling, labor management, opening and closing procedures
* Strong guest-recovery and problem-solving skills
* Understanding of food and beverage costs and restaurant profitability
* Excellent communication and organizational skills
* Ability to remain calm, professional, and decisive during high-volume service
* **Toast POS experience strongly preferred**
* Open availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays

WHAT YOU'LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR

As a FOH Manager, you will be actively involved in daily restaurant operations. This is a hands-on floor position, not an office-management role.

Responsibilities include:

* Leading FOH operations during brunch, dinner, Happy Hour, and special events
* Managing the floor and maintaining proper guest flow
* Ensuring tables are greeted promptly and service standards are consistently followed
* Coaching and developing FOH employees
* Conducting pre-shift meetings and communicating daily expectations
* Monitoring employee performance and holding the team accountable
* Managing staffing levels and controlling labor
* Handling guest concerns professionally and effectively
* Working closely with the kitchen and management team to ensure smooth service
* Overseeing opening and closing procedures
* Maintaining restaurant cleanliness, organization, and presentation
* Assisting with hiring, training, and employee development
* Ensuring POS procedures, cash handling, comps, and voids are handled correctly
* Supporting private parties and restaurant events
