I further attest that all information I submit in my employment application is true to the best of my knowledge.Job DescriptionThe Global Medical Affairs Lead, PDT Immunology is responsible for co-leading the development and execution of a multi-year global medical strategy for the PDT immunoglobulin portfolio, with a focus on therapeutic areas including primary immunodeficiency (PID), secondary immunodeficiency (SID), and chronic inflammatory demyelinating polyneuropathy (CIDP). The role partners across PDT R&D, Global Medical Affairs, clinical, regulatory, safety, compliance, regional and local teams to deliver scientific strategy, medical education, evidence generation, and stakeholder engagement that support patient-centered innovation and differentiated medical value. This is a hybrid role based in Cambridge, MA.Key ResponsibilitiesCo-lead development and execution of the multi-year global medical strategy for the PDT immunoglobulin portfolio across PID, SID, CIDP, and related disease areas.Co-lead scientific communication and education strategy, including publications, congress activities, healthcare professional engagement, and disease area or brand scientific communication platforms.Develop and update educational materials and medical assets that differentiate SCIG products and support individualized treatment, including integration of relevant digital technologies, device innovation, and technology-enabled patient support approaches.Execute medical education initiatives and educational assets to share best practices and advance understanding of immunoglobulin treatment personalization.Provide internal stakeholder education on the immunoglobulin portfolio, related disease areas, device innovation, digital health, and emerging technology trends through Takeda Plasma University and other educational platforms.Collect and synthesize insights on treatment burden, unmet needs, new devices, digital solutions, artificial intelligence, data-driven tools, and other emerging technologies to inform evidence generation, medical education, and strategic planning.Gather insights through global advisory boards, steering committees, local operating company surveys, congress engagements, and one-to-one interactions with key opinion leaders and other external experts.Gather internal insights from local operating companies, regions, global cross-functional medical units, and functions to inform global medical strategy.Build and manage purposeful relationships with external stakeholders, including KOLs, scientific societies, centers of excellence, and patient advocacy groups; foster cross-therapeutic area collaboration where innovation spans the broader portfolio.Lead internal capacity-building efforts through scientific training strategy and execution, aligned with overall business, R&D, clinical, regulatory, safety, compliance, and cross-functional priorities.Represent the company with external scientific leaders, patient organizations, scientific societies, and regulatory authorities, as appropriate.Provide input to development and management of the PDT R&D medical budget and manage the medical budget for the assigned product or disease area.Collaborate with Legal, Compliance, and Regulatory partners to ensure proper, ethical, and compliant interactions between PDT Global Medical Affairs personnel and external stakeholders.Plan, design, and manage PDT global medical advisory boards, as appropriate.Provide medical review and approval of Investigator Initiated Research proposals and other grants through the grant approval process.Support design and execution of designated evidence generation led by Medical Affairs, including Phase IIIb/IV studies, disease registries, observational studies, and noninterventional research, in collaboration with Therapeutic Area Unit representatives and Global Clinical Operations.Monitor and communicate progress against the medical plan; propose and initiate adjustments to address evolving disease area requirements and opportunities for innovation.Qualifications, Leadership Expectations, and Desirable QualitiesTechnical and Functional
