Detailed Job Description:

Strategy & Architecture: Assess current data governance maturity and design end-to-end architectures that secure and classify sensitive data.

Information Protection & DLP: Configure Sensitivity Labels, Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policies, and auto-labeling to prevent unauthorized data sharing.

Data Governance & Cataloging: Implement metadata scanning, business glossaries, and data lineage tracking.

Compliance & eDiscovery: Set up retention labels, records management, and Insider Risk Management to meet strict legal and regulatory standards.

Stakeholder Enablement: Translate complex compliance needs into executive reports.

Experience: Typically 5+ years in cybersecurity, data governance, or information management, with at least 3 years specifically in Microsoft Purview implementations.

Technical Proficiencies: Deep knowledge of Microsoft 365 E5 compliance stack, Microsoft Purview Information Protection, and Azure data services.

Certifications: Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Information Protection Administrator Associate or Security Operations Analyst Associate are highly preferred.
