Accounting Specialist

LHH recruitment solutions is hiring for an accounting specialist in the Fort Lauderdale, FL area. Our client is searching for an accounting specialist with a strong accounts payable and receivables background. This position is working full in office with a great client that offers excellent benefits. Key Responsibilities

· Record, classify, and post daily financial transactions in the accounting system.

· Process accounts payable, including reviewing invoices, verifying approvals, coding expenses, and preparing vendor payments.

· Manage accounts receivable activities, including customer billing, payment application, and follow-up on outstanding balances.

· Reconcile bank, credit card, general ledger, and balance sheet accounts; investigate and resolve discrepancies.

· Prepare and post journal entries and support month-end and year-end closing activities.

· Maintain accurate financial records, supporting documentation, and organized electronic files.

· Prepare routine financial reports, account schedules, aging reports, and variance analyses for management review.

This position is a direct hire opportunity that can pay $55k-$60k depending on resume and experience. Please apply today!
