CNA - LTC/SNF

Job Description

Job Summary:
Provide vital support to healthcare teams by assisting patients with daily activities and ensuring their comfort and safety. This role involves maintaining compliance with facility policies and promoting a compassionate environment for residents.

Responsibilities:

• Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and feeding.
• Monitor and report changes in patient conditions to nursing staff.
• Follow infection control protocols and safety procedures diligently.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient care activities.
• Adhere to facility policies regarding identification and badge requirements.
• Comply with vaccination and exemption policies mandated by the facility or legal standards.

Qualifications:

• Possess a valid CNA certification recognized by the state.
• Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Maintain current immunizations or approved exemption documentation.
• Show ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Exhibit a caring, compassionate attitude toward residents.
