Bakery Assistant

Role Description This is a part-time, on-site role for a Bakery Assistant based in Mundelein, IL. The Bakery Assistant will work closely with the baking team to prepare baked goods. Responsibilities Assist in preparing a variety of baked goods, following established recipes and standards. Decorate cakes and pastries with precision using cake decorating techniques to enhance visual appeal. Support food production activities by measuring ingredients, scooping batters, washing dishes, and operating baking equipment safely. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bakery workspace in compliance with food safety regulations. Handle food products with proper hygiene practices, including food handling and sanitation procedures. Requirements Previous experience in baking is not mandatory; enthusiasm to learn is essential. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills and a positive attitude towards teamwork.
