Sr. Medical Science Liaison - Obesity and Related Conditions - West Los Angeles, CA

Senior Medical Science Liaison position based in West Los Angeles focused on obesity and related conditions. Role involves serving as primary scientific resource to healthcare providers and decision-makers, executing medical strategy, and conducting peer-to-peer clinical discussions to advance patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Conduct peer-to-peer scientific discussions with opinion leaders, healthcare providers, and population health decision makers
- Engage clinical investigators and research sites supporting obesity pipeline development
- Communicate clinical, scientific, and economic data to institutional decision-makers
- Support Amgen-sponsored research and serve as study lead as needed
- Provide field observations and insights to internal teams to inform corporate strategy
Requirements
- Doctorate degree with 4 years Medical Affairs experience, or Master's with 8 years, or Bachelor's with 10 years
- PharmD, PhD, MD, or DO preferred
- Five years industry experience in Scientific/Medical Affairs at biotech or pharmaceutical company
- At least three years in a medical science liaison role
- Cardiometabolic and/or obesity and related conditions expertise
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
