National Business Development Manager

The Regional Manager – Marine Business Unit is responsible for driving profitable sales growth and market expansion across marine OEM, aftermarket, retail, distribution, and composite/resin channels within the assigned region. This role provides leadership for regional sales activities, distribution management, customer development, and technical market enablement for marine sealing, bonding, and resin technologies used in the assembly, repair, and maintenance of marine vessels. Specific Responsibilities Drive profitable sales growth across Marine OEM, aftermarket, retail, and distribution channels Develop and execute regional sales strategies aligned with Marine Business Unit objectives Manage and grow key distributor, dealer, retail, and representative agency relationships Identify and develop new business opportunities involving marine adhesives, sealants, bonding systems, and resin technologies Support technical sales activities including product demonstrations, field evaluations, troubleshooting, and customer training Maintain strong relationships with boat builders, repair facilities, marine distributors, and strategic accounts Monitor sales performance, forecasting, pipeline activity, and market trends while initiating corrective actions where necessary Coordinate market intelligence regarding competitors, pricing, products, and sales strategies Work closely with sales, marketing, technical, customer service, and operations teams to support growth initiatives Recruit, develop, train, and motivate regional sales personnel, rep agencies, and channel partners Support promotional activities, trade shows, and customer engagement events within the marine industry Ensure CRM discipline, territory management, and accurate reporting of sales activities and opportunities Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Marine Technology, Chemistry, or related field preferred Minimum 5 years of sales experience within Marine, Industrial Retail, Distribution, Composites, RV, Automotive Aftermarket, or related industries Strong knowledge of: Marine sealing and bonding systems Structural adhesives and polyurethane technologies Epoxy, polyester, vinyl ester, and polyurethane resin systems Marine vessel assembly, repair, and composite applications Marine industry specifications and repair standards Proven experience managing distributors, dealer networks, retail channels, or regional sales territories Strong technical sales, business development, and consultative selling skills Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, oral, and written communication skills Strong organizational, planning, and time management abilities with the capability to manage multiple priorities Excellent analytical and quantitative skills with strong business acumen Demonstrated track record of successful sales growth, leadership, innovation, and customer relationship management Ability to travel regionally as required Perks & Benefits 401k with Generous Company Match Bonuses Medical, Dental, and Vision Benefits Paid Parental Leave Life Insurance Disability Insurance Paid time off, Paid holidays Floating holidays + Paid Volunteer Time Wellness/Fitness Reimbursements Education Assistance Professional Development Opportunities Employee Referral Program We offer competitive salaries, aligned with local market benchmarks and the specific scope and responsibilities of each role.
