Sun River Health is currently seeking a full-time Registered Nurse to join our team at our Amityville and Wyandanch locations.The Staff Registered Nurse is a licensed nurse responsible for delivery of nursing care directly to individual clients. The Registered Nurse maintains the quality of client care through the ongoing processes of assessment, planning and implementation of nursing activities at the facility.Job Type: Full TimePay: $45.00/hr to $52.11/hrSign On Bonus: $2700 (Conditions Apply)Essential duties and responsibilities of a Registered Nurse:Develops, implements and evaluates the nursing care regimens for clients.Plans, coordinates and assesses client care.Identifies client needs and provides direct nursing care based on the client's care plan.Documents client care with accurate and accessible records.Collaborates with interdisciplinary team members to develop, implement and evaluate client care.Functions as preceptor to students, new hire candidates and other clinical team members/ staff when neededAdminister prescribed medication to clients and keeps accurate records of all medication administered in accordance with law and Sun River Health policies and proceduresUtilizes standing orders in accordance with Sun River Health policies and proceduresCommunicates with Pharmacy, Laboratories and other vendors as needed.Assists with medication refills per Sun River Health protocolsMaintains professional competence through participation in staff development and educational program.Provides clinical education and counseling to patients for health promotion and disease prevention to improve health outcomesRequirements:Bachelors Degree in Nursing RequiredNew York State Registered Nurse License RequiredCPR/BLS Certification RequiredJoin us at Sun River Health and be part of an award-winning network of care that has been serving our communities since 1975.
