Information Technology Analyst

Contract duration: 12 month contract with strong potential to convert to FTE Job Summary We are seeking an experienced IT/IS Analyst II to provide hands‑on technical support for employees at a manufacturing facility. This role will serve as the primary on‑site IT support resource, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, supporting Windows operating systems, managing IT assets, and ensuring employees have reliable access to technology. The ideal candidate is a customer‑focused IT professional with strong troubleshooting skills, excellent communication abilities, and the ability to work independently in a small‑site environment. This position requires someone who enjoys working directly with end users and solving technical issues in a fast‑paced operational environment. Responsibilities Provide on‑site desktop support for employees, including troubleshooting hardware, software, and operating system issues. Support Windows 10/11 environments, Microsoft Office applications, and other business applications. Diagnose and resolve technical issues involving: Desktop and laptop computers Printers and peripheral devices Software applications Network connectivity issues Install, configure, stage, and deploy IT equipment including computers, mobile devices, and peripherals. Manage IT asset inventory and maintain accurate equipment records. Utilize ticketing systems to document, track, and resolve user incidents and service requests. Perform software updates, security patches, and routine system maintenance activities. Provide support for manufacturing technology environments, including systems running on Windows‑based infrastructure. Assist with troubleshooting servers, virtual machines, storage devices, and related infrastructure as needed. Maintain compliance with IT policies, security standards, and operational procedures. Collaborate with remote/global IT teams to share information, resolve issues, and implement best practices. Maintain a professional and customer‑focused approach when supporting employees with varying levels of technical expertise. Required Qualifications 3+ years of experience providing IT support in a professional/business environment. Strong experience supporting Windows operating systems, including Windows 10 and Windows 11. Experience troubleshooting hardware and software issues in a desktop support environment. Proficiency supporting Microsoft Office applications, including: Outlook Word Excel Experience working with ticketing systems for incident tracking and resolution. Experience with IT asset management, inventory tracking, or device lifecycle management. Strong problem‑solving skills with the ability to independently troubleshoot and resolve technical issues. Excellent communication and customer service skills with the ability to support non‑technical users. Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work independently with minimal supervision. Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting IT environments within a manufacturing, industrial, or plant setting. Familiarity with VMware environments and Windows‑based server infrastructure. Experience with SQL Server troubleshooting or configuration. Knowledge of networking concepts and troubleshooting. Experience with tools such as SCCM, Microsoft Intune, Active Directory, or similar endpoint management platforms.
