Program Coordinator, Legal Services is responsible for the coordination, implementation, and evaluation of legal services programs, projects, and operational initiatives. This position ensures program goals, grant deliverables, case processing targets, and reporting requirements are achieved on time and in alignment with organizational objectives.

The Program Coordinator oversees project implementation, staff supervision, dashboard development, data analysis, program reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives while providing direct supervision to Program Assistants.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and manage project plans, workstreams, timelines, deliverables, and implementation schedules to ensure project objectives, milestones, and deadlines are met.
• Monitor project performance and identify risks, barriers, and opportunities to improve outcomes.
• Prepare project status updates, executive summaries, and presentations for leadership.

• Serve as the primary lead for legal services data management, reporting, and performance monitoring.
• Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards using Power BI, Tableau, and other business intelligence tools.
• Create executive-level dashboards that provide visibility into key performance indicators (KPIs), case activity, grant deliverables, and operational performance.
• Analyze trends related to consultations, case filings, case outcomes, processing times, client demographics, funding targets, and program impact.

• Monitor case flow and service delivery processes to identify opportunities for improved efficiency and client outcomes.
• Collaborate with attorneys, DOJ-accredited representatives, and legal support staff to streamline workflows and improve service delivery.

• Coordinate grant-funded activities and track deliverables across multiple funding sources.
• Monitor program outcomes and performance metrics required by federal, state, local, and private funders.
• Prepare narrative and data-driven reports demonstrating program performance and community impact.

• Provide direct supervision, coaching, and performance management for Program Assistants supporting immigration legal services programs.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Business Administration, Project Management, Legal Studies, Social Services, Data Analytics, or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in program coordination, project management, legal services operations, nonprofit administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of two (2) years of supervisory or team leadership experience.
• Demonstrated experience managing projects, timelines, deliverables, and cross-functional initiatives. Experience collecting, analyzing, and presenting program performance data.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills along with excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in immigration legal services, legal aid, access-to-justice programs, or nonprofit legal services.
• Experience developing and maintaining dashboards using Microsoft Power BI and/or Tableau .
• Experience with case management systems such as Clio, Salesforce, or similar platforms.
• Experience managing federally funded or grant-funded programs.
• Project Management Professional (PMP), CAPM, Lean Six Sigma, or similar certification.
